This Subscription Fee Refund Policy ("Policy") governs the terms and conditions under which Paywalex Software and Financial Technologies Private Limited ("Paywalex," "We," or "Us") provides refunds for subscription fees paid for the use of the Paywalex Platform and its associated Services.

1. Scope of Policy

This Policy applies exclusively to the subscription fees paid by the Merchant/User to Paywalex for platform access and service usage.

• Exclusion: This Policy does not apply to any payments, sales, or transactions conducted between the Merchant and their End Customers. Returns and refunds for customer purchases are governed by the Merchant's own separate policy. This Policy also does not cover third-party fees (e.g., payment gateway charges, external integration costs).

2. General Refund Principles (No Refunds for Service Used)

Since our services are intangible, non-returnable, and involve immediately provisioned platform access, our refund policy is governed by the following strict principles:

• Service Already Rendered: We generally do not offer refunds for any period of service that has already commenced or been fully utilized.

• No Obligation: Paywalex is under no obligation to provide a refund simply because the Merchant has decided to cease using the platform mid-term or has changed their mind, unless explicitly stated in this document.

• Free Trials: The purpose of a free trial period is to allow the Merchant to evaluate the service before committing to a paid subscription. No refunds will be granted on the basis of dissatisfaction after the trial period has ended.

3. Refund Eligibility for Subscription Plans

Refunds are handled differently based on the billing cycle:

Monthly Subscription Plans

Paywalex operates a "No Refund" policy for monthly subscriptions. If a Merchant cancels a monthly subscription, they will not receive a refund for the current month's prepaid fee. Service access will continue until the end of the current billing cycle, and no future charges will be applied.

Annual Subscription Plans

Annual subscriptions are billed at a discounted rate in exchange for a longer commitment.

• 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee: A full refund may be requested only within seven (7) calendar days of the initial purchase date of the annual subscription. After this 7-day window, the annual fee is considered non-refundable.

• Mid-Term Cancellation (After 7 Days): If an annual subscription is canceled after the initial 7-day period, Paywalex will not provide a refund for the unused portion of the subscription. Service access will continue until the end of the prepaid annual term.

4. Exceptions and Platform Termination

• Termination by Paywalex (Without Cause): If Paywalex decides to terminate a Merchant’s paid account without cause (i.e., not due to a breach of the Terms and Conditions) before the prepaid term has expired, the Merchant will be eligible for a prorated refund covering the unused days remaining in the subscription term.

• Termination by Paywalex (For Cause): If Paywalex terminates a Merchant’s account for cause (e.g., violation of the Terms and Conditions, illegal activity, or non-payment), the Merchant will not be eligible for any refund for any unused portion of the subscription fee.

5. Refund Processing

1. Request Initiation: All refund requests must be submitted in writing to the Paywalex billing department via email at [Insert Billing Email, e.g., billing@paywalex.com].

2. Processing Time: Paywalex will process all approved refunds within ten (10) business days of the approval date.

3. Method: Refunds will be issued only to the original payment method used for the subscription purchase.
